Magic Kingdom Attractions That Never Change

When you’re visiting Walt Disney World, the to-do list of activities and experiences that you have to accomplish during a trip could be overwhelming.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know about the rides that never change? It’s not a negative – just a fact. If you wanted to do something “new” or “updated”, the attractions on the list could be re-prioritized.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

BTM has gotten more and more bumpy and rocky over the years, so although it’s in the category of experiences that never change – some would argue that it’s actually gotten a little worse due to the wear and tear of being subjected to Florida’s weather elements.

Country Bear Jamboree

It’s a great escape from the heat and a perfect spot to grab a nap – but there is nothing new of this Walt Disney World classic audio-animatronic show.

Mad Tea Party

Even with the current environmental concerns that are making the globe into a real life version of Sim City with random daily challenges – the biggest polluter of gas fumes is still around with zero concern for changes. This wouldn’t be a horrible thing to change, but it’s still here in “all its glory”.

Tom Sawyer’s Island

In addition to most of the experiences around the Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer’s Island is definitely something that hasn’t changed. In fact, with the enhancements to Disneyland Resort’s version of the experience adapting a pirate theme, the Walt Disney World experience is significantly behind the eight ball.

Space Mountain

The only thing that’s changed with this coaster is the amount of down-time that’s been experienced in recent years that allow guests to see the entire thing with the lights on.
