Are you ready for a 1.2 mile walk that takes you around the world without leaving Florida? EPCOT’s World Showcase is more than a permanent expo – it’s a treasure trove of unique shopping, interesting food and memorable air conditioning.
Part of the experience is shopping, so let’s look at the unique souvenirs and where to find them.
🍁 Canada: The Beaver Butt Soap
You read that right – the Canadian pavilion is home to a joke that pays off if you never open it.
Beaver Butt Soap from Goat Mountain Soap Co. is a highly unique fresh, fragrant bouquet of Sweet Pea Flowers. Fresh floral top notes of apple and lily of the valley with nuances of grape. Heart notes are rose, gardenia and carnation. Violet and mild musk complete this amazing fragrance.
Does it smell like a Beaver Butt? Not sure, but if you really want options – the company also sells products like “Moose Spit Soap”, “Bear Breath Soap” and “Rabbit Raisins Soap”.

🇬🇧 UK: Tea
We might not describe tea as ‘unique’, especially if you’re in the UK pavilion.
The real part that makes this unique is the fact that you’re buying an authentic UK-product from a cultural representative from across the pond. Oh, and they have apparel that any tea-fan would get a kick out of.
🇫🇷 France: Parfume Remy Merchandise
I was going to bring the essence of Paris into the conversation, and then last minute I decided against it.
With the introduction of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, there’s an influx of adorable Remy merchandise. May I suggest a plush or a toy of the attraction ride vehicle?
Combine it with a baguette and you’re bien!

🇲🇦 Morocco: Handwoven Goods
The Moroccan pavilion at EPCOT is all about the vibrant colours and intricate designs, and that translates into the merchandise as well.
Walk through the back of the pavilion and see if there’s something that fits your suitcase, budget and style – and that’s your hidden gem! We’re always a fan of window shopping the colorful lanterns and clothes.
🇯🇵 Japan: Something from Mitsukoshi
The Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan Pavilion is a blast to walk through, as it’s home to everything from pop culture merchandise to traditional kimonos. Not to mention that the air conditioning on a hot Florida day can be a perfect break as you’re walking ‘around the world’.
In the past, we’ve found the gem to be Akoya Pearls, but that can be hit or miss if it’s open.

🇺🇸 USA: Art of Disney
I was told that I wasn’t allowed to put “BBQ from the Regal Eagle Smokehouse” in here for a souvenir (even if it’s better than anything else you can buy), but I’ll play the game.
The best thing to buy here is actually found in the Art of Disney storefront, as it’s home to prints from Larry Dotson, Disney Artist.
Get one – you’ll thank me later!
🇮🇹 Italy: Water Bottle
Here’s the first of the pavilions that may not have something exciting, as it’s really hit or miss and it mostly depends on how much you want to spend.
Most of the pavilion is dedicated to the restaurants and there’s really one a single storefront (with three rooms), so if you’re not looking for a Venetian mask, breakable glass art or a soccer jersey, you may want to just get a serving of gelato outside.
🇩🇪 Germany: Lederhosen
We go from a pavilion with little options to one with way too many.
From a Lederhosen-style bag to beer steins, cuckoo clocks to something from Arribas Brothers – you’ll be able to walk away with something incredibly cool!

The Outpost: Instruments
While the African Outpost isn’t officially a full pavilion, it’s still got a few interesting things to check out like hand-held games and instruments.
Don’t stress if you can’t decide, as there’s more options at Disney’s Animal Kingdom or at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

🇨🇳 China: Shanghai Disney Resort Merchandise
The China pavilion has two separate spots for shopping – the outside promenade and the shops in the back.
From personal experience, you’re able to find some interesting Shanghai Disney merchandise if you walk through.

🇳🇴 Norway: Outerwear
Get a School Bread snack before going shopping, but what you find inside might not be best suited to the Floridian temperatures.
The Norway Pavilion has some of the best outerwear, carrying brands like Helly Hansen, which doesn’t work for the current climate but will help when you get home.

🇲🇽 Mexico: Candles, lollipops and handmade goods
The marketplace in the Mexico Pavilion is great fun. You can find a ton of options when you’re waiting for a lull in the line at Gran Fiesta Tour. Check out special merchandise for the Day of the Dead celebrations or just enjoy the air conditioning.
