Unwind in the Quiet Zone
Disney has thoughtfully created quiet zones throughout the parks, like the Baby Care Centers. You don’t need to have little ones to enjoy the serenity these areas offer. They’re perfect for recharging your spirits.
I’m also a fan of recommending the nearest bench, as a quiet zone can be created through putting in your airpods and going through a Spotify playlist.

Chill on Hub Grass
The green hub grass at the center of the Magic Kingdom is a soothing sanctuary amidst the excitement. Grab a mickey’s premium ice cream bar, take a seat, and soak in the views of Cinderella Castle. It’s a wonderful spot to recharge your batteries and people watch.
Sometimes the best cure for anxiety is watching people who are going through a more stressful situation. Just saying…
Dine at Columbia Harbour House
When hunger strikes, opt for quieter dining spots like Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom. These places are typically less crowded, giving you a peaceful space to enjoy your meal away from the masses.
The reason why we recommend this quick service dining spot in Liberty Square is because it has a second floor. No harm in finding a spot to eat where you don’t get interrupted with giant groups.
Stay in Touch
Let your travel companions know how you’re feeling. Open communication is crucial.
If you need a break or some personal space, don’t hesitate to express your needs. Your loved ones are there to support you.
Until they’re not, at which point you can say that you need some time to “shop for a birthday gift” and plan to meet up in an hour.
I’ve done it and it’s not a bad way to just de-stress and get some actual shopping accomplished.

Free water in the Magic Kingdom can get challenging, but our Free Water article shares where you should go. (PS – it’s Pecos Bills)
Midday Retreat to the Resorts
As the day goes on, the parks tend to get busier. Take a break in the middle of the day and stroll over to one of the nearby resorts, like the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary. It’s a fantastic way to relax in a quieter setting.
Plus, you might discover some of the resorts’ unique charms, like the hallway to Victoria & Alberts, which displays the menus and awards to our favourite signature dining experience at Walt Disney World.
Remember, feeling a little anxious at a place as bustling as Walt Disney World is totally normal. These tips are here to make your experience more enjoyable and stress-free. Take care of yourself, go at your own pace, and focus on creating those magical memories.
