With over 20 million servings of Butterbeer sold at Universal Orlando, this drink deserves its own spot on the list.

Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure – both are top notch recent additions to the theme park. It’s also important to check in with the classics, like Spiderman and Forbidden Journey.

We had an opportunity to see this on our last trip and the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle was a highlight! Keep in mind that there are nights when they have multiple showings of this evening spectacular that incorporates projection mapping, fireworks and an epic score!

FRONT ROW ON THE HULK

I absolutely love this rollercoaster! It’s a ride that will send you from zero to hold-on-to-your-butt in no time flat and when you put it in it’s rightful place as an icon of the park…you’ll want to ride the Incredible Hulk!
IF you want the best experience, I’m a fan of the front row BUT there’s an argument to snag the back row for that impressive whip!

COMIC BOOK SHOPPING AT MARVEL SUPERHERO ISLAND

Remember, Marvel is about bringing comic books to life. With that mantra, might as well take in all the experiences from attractions to food to shopping! I’ve been known to have a little comic book budget and see what kind of gems are available.

GET SOAKED!

Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dudley Do-Rights and Popeye…classic water rides that will all do the job if you want to cool off from the Florida weather!

Dining at Islands of Adventure is enhanced when you think that Mythos is available! This mix of Mediterranean, Asian and American cuisine will leave you pleasantly surprised in a park is more known for it’s quick service dining than it’s table service options. It’s award-winning for a reason!

SEUSS LANDING SNACKS

I was going to put the giant candy-floss as it’s own entry but then realized that one of the highlights of Seuss Landing is the creativity of the snacks! Just looking at the photos from our last trip made me want to go to the gym to burn off calories….and that’s just from the pics!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is why most people go to Islands of Adventure, so be prepared for the lines and the hustle & bustle…but you’ll have so much fun wandering around and checking out the details.

From Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, to shops direct from the movies, it’s a theme park within a theme park and doesn’t disappoint!
