STEP ONE: VISIT THE CHRISTMAS SHOPPE IN LIBERTY SQUARE

When you visit the Christmas Shoppe, you’re going to ask a Cast Member where you can place an order for a personalized Birthday Button. There are a few registers in the location, so you’re more than likely going to be going to the one closest to Cinderella’s Castle.

STEP TWO: PLACE YOUR ORDER

The order is actually pretty basic, so having this information in advance will help you streamline the process and allow the cast members to start working on your project quickly.

Prices start at $3, which include a name and a piece of complimentary artwork. Those choices include:

  • Pixie Dust
  • Hearts
  • Stars
  • and Paw Prints

If you’d like to upgrade your design for an addition $3 ($6 in total) to a more elaborate piece, the shop is able to draw:

  • Balloons
  • Fireworks
  • Seasonal (Halloween, Christmas, etc)

***Please note that the artwork varies by artist and that no other additional artwork is available at this time.

You’re also able to choose your Ink Color, with options including:

  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Blue
  • Green
  • and Purple

STEP THREE: COME BACK TO PICK UP

It does take a cast member time to actually create the design, so the biggest recommendations that we had is to show up early and place your order before other guests start ordering personalized ornaments. This is a one-off service that they provide, so be respectful of the line ahead of you and know that the team does this every day and will always try to be as quick as possible while still providing great attention to detail.

We placed our order at 9:35am and it was ready at 9:53am (digital timestamps on the camera are great for this!)

The team is also able to personalize other celebration buttons, as they had out a number of marathon buttons as examples…just as an FYI:)

This is by far one of the best personalized experiences at the Magic Kingdom and is definitely worth it for the price point and the ease of transaction.

Hope this helps in your trip planning adventures and that you’re able to put this on your bucket list for your next trip to Walt Disney World!
