FastPass Reservations You Can Skip

Sharing information that you can actually use is what we’re all about here at Steps to Magic!

One of the topics that we get asked for information about is the Walt Disney World FastPass+ reservation system. I’m more than happy to bring some light into a point that can actually save you stress and time on your vacation, so let’s play!

FastPass Reservations You Can Skip

Just to start with, this list isn’t about mistakes that you can make with FastPass…because we’ve already got that article. My goal is to share a number of experiences that you can skip due to a variety of factors that aren’t usually discussed.

With 25 FastPass+ experiences, you can be picky on what is worth one of your three reservations.

You can skip:

  • The Barnstormer
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant
  • Enchanted Tales with Belle
  • it’s a Small World
  • Mad Tea Party
  • The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
  • Meet Tinker Bell at Town Square Theatre
  • Mickey’s Philharmagic
  • Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
  • Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid

Most of the list are open all day, which means that in the morning and at night…they are mostly walk-ons. With experiences like Monsters Inc and Philharmagic, the are huge capacity shows and you really don’t need to waste a reservation when it doesn’t give you a different view than guests without FastPass+.

12 Experiences and two tiers…basically you’re looking at a number of attractions that are being included when the priority is pretty clear.

You can skip:

  • Disney *  Pixar Short Film Festival
  • Illuminations: Reflections of Earth
  • Journey into Imagination with Figment
  • Mission: Space
  • The Seas with Nemo
  • Spaceship Earth (Go mid-day or at night)
  • Turtle Talk with Crush

You’ll want to get a Frozen Ever After or Soarin’ Tier 1 and your Tier 2 is completely up to your preference. There’s really no argument for or against any of those experiences, as I’ve walked-on to each of them at random times of the day, so if it’s more about using all your reservations…go with your favs!

One of my favorite theme parks in Orlando is the Animal Kingdom! I love the ability to completely escape reality, but also have a Starbucks within walking distance;) That being said, there are 13 attractions and two tiers…so let’s have some fun.

You can skip:

With Tier one making you decide which Avatar experience to do, there is no competition between the two.

There are a few awesome FastPass+ reservations to get in the second tier, like Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris…it’s not worth wasting a FP on something that you can walk-on OR wait under 30 minutes to experience.
