Disney Photopass Magic Shot

It’s amazing when you can have a little extra “magic” on your vacation, from having an interaction with a cast member to being amazed by the skills of performers in shows and parades. But, what happens when you know that you can just ask for a little something special from your Photopass Photographer?

Disney Photopass Magic Shot

Disney Photopass Photographers are everywhere at Walt Disney World, especially in front of landmarks and high-traffic areas. From Cinderella’s Castle to Character Meet & Greets and beyond. They are able to take photos of you & your party, so you don’t have to worry about it.

The photographers offer a service called “Memory Maker”, which is attached to your My Disney Experience account and will post the photos taken in the parks via your MagicBand for you to download and share.

HERE’S THE TRICK

Photopass Photographers have the ability to add a little “magic” when they can. Sometimes it’s a special treat and other times you can ask for it, but the basic understanding is that they are able to add characters into your photos digitally.

These special photos are known as Magic Shots, and can be anything from Tinkerbell in your hand to a Banshee flying over your head in Pandora: The World of Avatar. There are also seasonal offerings and special Magic Shots that are only available during parties, like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND MORE ABOUT MAGIC SHOTS?

If you’re a local OR want to know what some of the upcoming Magic Shots are, please feel free to follow @DisneyPhotoPass on instagram or Facebook and get your notebook out!

Lots of options, and usually it’s all about just asking nicely if the Photographer has a little extra “magic” to share!
