The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida offers a unique feature that lets riders choose their own soundtrack for their experience. While there’s a standard selection of genres and songs available through the regular interface, there’s also a hidden feature that unlocks hundreds of additional song choices.
How to Access the Secret Playlist
- When you board the coaster, locate the mounted control panel that displays music genres
- Instead of selecting a genre, press and hold the Rockit logo for 10 seconds
- A number pad will appear on your screen
- Enter the three-digit code for your desired song
Important Notes
- You’ll know you’ve successfully entered a valid code if you see the message: “Please be aware you are unable to make a video with this song”
- If you hear a clicking sound, the code wasn’t valid, and you’ll hear the ambient sounds of the ride instead
- You must enter the code quickly once the number pad appears
- It’s recommended to memorize your desired song code before boarding
