Everything You Need to Know About Joffrey’s Coffee at Disney

Every great Disney day starts with the perfect cup of coffee, and at Walt Disney World, that means Joffrey’s. But this isn’t just another coffee shop – it’s a Florida success story that’s become an essential part of the Disney experience.

The Story Behind Your Cup

What started as a small Tampa-based roaster in 1984 has grown into a beloved part of Disney parks worldwide. Joffrey’s magical journey with Disney began in 1995 with a single test location at Typhoon Lagoon. That first step has led to an incredible partnership that now spans across all Disney properties.

The secret to their success? A commitment to quality that matches Disney’s own high standards. Joffrey’s exclusively uses Specialty Grade Arabica beans – only the top 10% of beans worldwide qualify! Their roastmasters work directly with Disney’s world-class chefs to create unique blends that capture the magic of Disney in every cup.

This dedication has paid off: from just 10 employees at their first Disney location, Joffrey’s now has over 150 cast members across Disney properties. As CEO Ted Abrams explains, “We’re able to create memorable coffee experiences for Disney guests, shifting the company’s focus from behind-the-scenes supplier to a recognized consumer brand.”

A perfect example of their coffee expertise and Disney magic comes together in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Blend. After an enthusiastic reception from D23 fans, this special blend became available for home brewing, letting guests bring a taste of Disney magic into their own kitchens.
