Here’s a list of all the things that you can get for free at Walt Disney World!
Free Things at Disney World
Location: Parks, Resorts, Water Parks and Disney Springs
This is a no-brainer for those who have been to the parks before, but as a first-timer…this is a game changer! You get free Wi-Fi on Disney Property, but it comes with a few things that you should know.
- Wi-Fi in your Disney Resort hotel room is by far the best!
- General areas are glitchy and often become overwhelmed with the sheer number of folks trying to connect
- Anything LIVE will be impacted by the strength of the signal. If you’re doing LIVE…then hang out by a restaurant or a building vs in the open pathways.
- iMessage connects via Wi-Fi, so you don’t have to worry if you’re on Airplane mode.

Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom
Location: Magic Kingdom
Let’s be honest…Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom (SOTMK) is an absolute blast! It’s an interactive game that recruits guests to join Merlin to protect the Kingdom against Hades and the other villains.
Added value comes in the cards that you’re able to get in order to play the game.
The starting point is at the Firehouse on Main Street USA, where they’ll give you a map, a set of 5 cards and a starting portal.

Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure
Location: World Showcase @ EPCOT
I learned about this back when it was themed to Kim Possible, but the idea has continued with the new franchise. If you have kids, it’s a Must Do at EPCOT! The adventure takes you into a number of pavilions and allows you to learn WHILE having fun. Talk about perfect EPCOT;)
So this is not only a free tip, but it’s also something that you have to take advantage of during the Florida heat!
The skinny is that there are ways to get free H2O at the Disney Parks. This will allow you to save time trying to find water fountains and money by not having to buy bottled water. Win Win!

Have you ever experienced the horror of giving your camera to a stranger and asking them to take a photo of your family at a place like Niagara Falls or the Hollywood Sign and having to explain how to push the red button?
Disney listened and they introduced Photopass. The photographers are not only packing a solid DSLR setup, which works if you’ve purchased the Memory Maker package, but they are also great at taking photos with your own camera.
We’ve bought Memory Maker a number of times for our vacations and recently got it as a perk for being an Annual Passholder, but the number of times that I’ve asked a photographer to grab a photo for an instagram or Facebook photo will actually surprise you! Ask, because it’s well worth it!
So this is a regular question that I get: “Can I still use Disney buses if I’m staying off-property?”
Yes, yes you can. Disney buses, Disney Skyliner, boats, monorails…they’re all free to utilize. The only added surcharge that Disney offers currently is the Minnie Van Program, so at least you have an option just in case:)

What are you celebrating? Is it a birthday, an anniversary, maybe a first visit? Stop in at Guest Relations in the parks, or at your Disney resort concierge and they’ll get you an awesome souvenir that you can wear to the parks so that everyone knows you’re celebrating something!

Here’s the skinny on FP+: Disney FastPass+ service allows you to reserve access to select Walt Disney World theme park attractions, entertainment and Character Greetings in advance.
To access FastPass+ service before you arrive, you must have either: Valid Ticket or annual pass – make selections up to 30 days in advance through the MyDisneyExperience app.
Some would say that this is the biggest free offering that there is, as Universal Orlando Resort has a similar service called Universal Express that’s included in their on-site resorts, but off-site guests would have to pay for it.
At Disney, it’s all included in the price of admission. Whether or not you take advantage of it…well that’s up to you:)
