Disney World Candy Shops — Main Street to Disney Springs

Discover the sweetest hidden gems across Disney property, perfect for satisfying any sugar craving during your vacation

There’s something magical about treating yourself to candy while exploring Walt Disney World. As someone who needs that extra sugar boost between Dole Whips, I’ve discovered the perfect spots to satisfy your sweet tooth across the resort. From custom-made candy apples to international treats, here’s your guide to the most enchanting candy shops at Disney World!

1. Main Street Confectionery – Magic Kingdom

The Imagineers knew exactly what they were doing with this one! As you stroll down Main Street USA, the enticing aroma of chocolate, candy, and freshly baked goods wafts through the air – and trust me, it’s not by accident! This classic mid-western style shop offers everything from handmade fudge to chocolate-dipped treats and endless varieties of cupcakes.

Insider Tip: Everything just tastes better in the Magic Kingdom, so grab your favorite sweet and head toward Cinderella Castle for the perfect snack break! 😊

2. Goofy’s Candy Co. – Disney Springs

While you can find Goofy’s branded treats throughout the resort, nothing beats the original location. What makes this spot special is their custom treat station where you can create your own masterpiece! Choose your base (crispy rice treats, apples, marshmallows, or pretzels) and add your favorite toppings for a personalized sweet treat.

Don’t Miss: Goofy’s Glaciers – imagine a Disney-fied version of your favorite slushie, complete with fun flavors and mix-ins!

3. Karamell-Küche – Germany Pavilion, EPCOT

There’s something incredibly special about watching guests take their first bite of fresh caramel fudge at this Werther’s paradise. The shop combines classic caramel with everything from popcorn to strawberries, creating irresistible treats that are worth the wait in line.

4. The Candy Cauldron – Disney Springs

This is where candy becomes art! The real magic happens as you watch Cast Members transform simple apples into elaborate character-themed creations. The open kitchen design lets you witness the entire process – from plain fruit to decorated masterpiece.

5. Mitsukoshi – Japan Pavilion, EPCOT

A treasure trove of unique Japanese sweets! From Botan Rice candy to an impressive array of gummy treats, this shop offers flavors you won’t find anywhere else in the resort. It’s technically a department store, but the candy section alone is worth the visit.

6. Northwest Mercantile – Canada Pavilion, EPCOT

As a former Cast Member who worked here, I can personally vouch for these treats! While guests often ask about ketchup chips (sorry, not available!), the selection of Canadian chocolate bars and gummy candies is impressive.

Fun fact: We often get asked why Swedish Fish are sold in Norway when they’re such a big deal in Canada!

7. Zuri’s Sweets Shop – Disney’s Animal Kingdom

While the famous ‘Match the Species’ chocolates may have come and gone (RIP 2015), this shop still offers a wonderful selection of animal-themed treats, cookies, cupcakes, and candy apples.

8. Disney Resort Gift Shops

Never underestimate your resort’s gift shop! They’re perfect for grabbing those last-minute Goofy’s Candy Co. treats before heading home. Trust me, you’ll want something sweet to help ease back into regular life!

9. Magic of Disney at Orlando International Airport

The journey is part of the adventure! I always stop here either on my way to start my Disney vacation (perfect for that exciting 26-mile journey to Walt Disney World) or as my final Disney purchase before heading home. We call it the EarPort for a reason!

10. Disney Springs Candy Destinations

Beyond The Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Co., Disney Springs has several sweet spots scattered throughout the complex. Each offers its own unique treats and themed experiences. Favourite spots would be M&M’s and the World of Disney.
