Let me share one of my favorite Disney World money-saving secrets – you know all that amazing merchandise you’re eyeing at Disney Springs? A lot of it (or something very similar) is available at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets for way less. And I’m not just talking about the Character Warehouse!
I’ve spent countless hours exploring these outlets (probably too many, if I’m honest), and I’ve discovered exactly where to find Disney magic without the Disney prices. Trust me, you’ll want to hit these spots before maxing out your budget at World of Disney.
Start at Character Warehouse (Obviously!)

This is your first stop for authentic Disney Parks merchandise at 40-70% off. We’re talking:
- Mickey Ears starting at $7.99 (vs. $29.99+ in parks)
- Trading Pins for $3.99 (saving you $10+ each)
- Spirit Jerseys around $24.99 (instead of $75!)
- Complete costumes for $39.99 (rather than $79.99)
- MagicBands for $19.99 (saving $15-25)
You’ll even find treasures from Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Disneyland. Plus, seasonal merchandise from past festivals and holidays can show up here…eventually.
Then Head to Heroes & Villains

This store is seriously magical (and somehow still a hidden gem). While their prices can match Disney Springs, their selection is absolutely incredible. We actually found a limited edition Loungefly design here that I’d never seen in the parks! They get new designs super fast, and their variety of Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel merchandise is amazing.
Pro tip: If you spot something unique here, grab it. I’m still thinking about how the Skeleton Dance Loungefly bag found its way into our closet! Long story short – we had been searching everywhere online before our trip, with prices in the “crazy’ side because it was new. The goal was to keep an eye our for it throughout our trip, as it was eluding us.
We had just gotten drinks from Shake Shack and they didn’t allow food & beverages in the store – so I asked Jill to wait outside so I could run in for a quick minute to see if there was something worthwhile for after we had finished getting hydrated.
I showed her the photo that’s the hero image for this article, and I was more excited to see the villains and A Goofy Movie bag that I completely missed the Skeleton Dance staring at me…IRL! Easiest purchase ever!
The Coach Outlet’s Disney Collection
Want something more sophisticated than a standard park bag? Coach’s Disney collections end up here eventually, usually at 40-60% off retail. These pieces are perfect when you want that Disney magic in a more grown-up style.

More Disney Finds You Wouldn’t Expect
LIDS Surprises
They carry official sports team merchandise, with a few licensed designs for way less than Disney Springs prices. Plus, their Star Wars and Marvel hat selection is seriously impressive.
At Claire’s
Their Disney accessories section is perfect for kids (and kids at heart). You’ll find similar styles to park merchandise at a fraction of the price. Those princess hair accessories that are $20+ in the parks? Usually under $10 here.
Swarovski Magic

Their Disney and Star Wars collections are stunning (have you seen their crystal baby Yoda?). While still special occasion prices, you’ll save significantly compared to park prices.
Park-Ready Essentials for Less
Crocs Store

Disney-themed Crocs and Jibbitz for about half the park prices. Your feet will thank you after walking 10 miles around Magic Kingdom! I’ve become a huge fan of the Crocs Sneakers.
Old Navy’s Disney Section
Perfect for those matching family shirts without the matching family prices. Their Disney collection is seriously underrated and usually 60% less than park prices.
Make It Part of Your Disney Day

Here’s how to do this right: Plan your outlet visit for day one or two of your trip. Take an Uber from Disney Springs (it’s only $7-10) and arrive right at opening (10am). The early arrival is crucial – you’ll avoid both crowds and the Florida heat.
Grab your Starbucks (they open at 9am!) and start with Character Warehouse. Then hit Heroes & Villains before making your way through the other stores. When you need a break, Shake Shack here has the same menu as Disney Springs but usually with shorter lines.
Why This Matters for Your Trip
Shopping the outlets early in your vacation means:
- You can wear your finds during your actual Disney days
- You’ll know what’s available before splurging in the parks
- More budget left for special experiences (and snacks!)
- No regrets about park prices when you see outlet deals
Real Talk About Timing
The best strategy is to combine this with a resort/pool day. Hit the outlets in the morning, grab lunch at Shake Shack, then head back to Disney Springs or your resort pool for the afternoon. It’s the perfect way to save money while still keeping the Disney magic going!
Remember, while some of these items might be from last season or previous events, nobody’s going to care (or even notice) that your awesome Mickey ears are from last year’s collection. They’ll be too busy asking where you found such cute Disney gear!
Trust me – your wallet will thank you for taking a few hours to explore these outlets. And hey, more money saved means more Dole Whip money, right?
