Is Cinderella’s Royal Table Worth It?

INITIAL THOUGHTS

The opportunity to dine in Cinderella Castle is a dream that most Disney fans are longing to take advantage of.

As we’re talking about a Table Service / Signature Dining, the subjectivity is apparent from the get go, which means that our goal shifts from the food primarily to the feeling that you get when you arrive to when you leave.

COST

It’s important to start with the upfront cost, as this is a big part of whether or not it’s worth it!

Breakfast – $60 adults and $38 children
Lunch / Dinner – $79 adults and $46 children

Please note that prices increase during peak seasons

Disney Dining Plan – 2 Credits

WHAT YOU GET

Breakfast gets you a variety of pastries and an entree, of which there are six to choose from.

Lunch / Dinner gets you an appetizer, an entree (one of six choices) and a dessert (one of four choices)

In addition, it’s a Character Dining experience, including meet and greets with multiple princesses that vary from day to day.

The Summary

Reviews are certainly mixed, but that’s a given due to the price-point that we’re discussing. For a family of four, you’re looking at around $250 to start, which does bring a higher level of expectation. That being said, the feeling that you get from the start to the finish is something that is difficult to put into words!

IS THE FOOD THE BEST?

Probably Not

IS THIS THE BEST CHARACTER DINING EXPERIENCE IN DISNEY?

Depending on whether you want to meet princesses, it’s a very personal question. Some folks want more Mickey vs Princess Jasmine, but we felt like this was probably the best non-Fab5 experience at Disney World!

DO YOU GET YOUR MONEY’S WORTH?

Putting together the quality of food and the exclusiveness of the dining room (which only seats 130 guests), you would be hard-pressed to find an experience on property that would rival Cinderella’s Royal Table.

The BIG QUESTION….Is it worth it?

Yes!!

The reason why would surprise you, but the goal of this restaurant is to bring as much magic to the guest as possible, and from the top down, this restaurant takes the cake.

Now, do we think that the restaurant is perfect for every age and every guest? Of course not. There are limits to any situation, but when you’re talking about whether or not an experience is worth it or not…the goal of this article is to provide you with a starting point for further research.

Please note as well that we’ve seen reviews from TripAdvisor and Yelp, in addition to a number of Disney Travel sites that bring up points that are very specific. Our recommendation is to 100% trust your own personal judgement and to take a review from 3rd party source as a voice of a date and time that you weren’t there to verify.
