Each year, the Magic Kingdom plays host to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which delights guests with holiday offerings that bring a smile to anyone who loves to see snow on Main Street USA!
START TIME VS ENTRY TIME
The party officially starts at 7pm, however when you have a ticket…you’re actually able to get into the park as early as 4pm.
BE FLEXIBLE
Plan your evening in pencil…because things will definitely come up! Be flexible and take it all in:)

PARADE TIP!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has two showings of the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which is similar to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. My recommendation is consistent for both events…skip the first parade!
You’re able to do more in the event while everyone else is being frustrated by larger crowds, typically filled with families and others who don’t like staying up late.
Parade times are 830pm and 11pm nightly.
DON’T SPEND TOO MUCH TIME IN LINE FOR FOOD
Food is important, but be spontaneous and eat when and where you can. Not every restaurant will be open during the party, and locations closer to high-traffic areas will be busier (ie Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland)

SKIP THE JINGLE CRUISE
The Jungle Cruise is transformed into the “Jingle Cruise” during the holidays, but our tip is quite simple…skip it. Why waste valuable time for an attraction that isn’t special for the event:)
In fact, we’ve had more fun just watching a Youtube video, as the spiel is what you’re there to hear and the jungle is dark anyway.
FREE COOKIES!
Ok, so on top of the variety of cookies (ginger molasses, peppermint crunch, snickerdoodle, etc), there’s also an AWESOME variety of drinks. Nestle Nesquik, Sno-Cones, Eggnog, Hot Chocolate….yea…that’s where you win!
HEALTHY OPTIONS…DO IT!
Get your Apple Slices! You’re able to get more “healthy options”, so take advantage of those for your morning snacks;)

THE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IS AWESOME
This vocal acapella group is performing nightly at the party! This is a huge thing for folks, like me, who absolutely love classic holiday music with a spin. You can check out their YouTube videos over here

PARTY EXCLUSIVE STUFF
Special Event Merchandise is available in pre-designated retail locations…so get your merch early in the party! Pins, ornaments, apparel and MagicBands are up for grabs. In addition, some food locations are offering exclusive drinks, cupcakes and other fun items!
GO EARLY AND STAY LATE
Between 1030pm and 12am is PRIME attraction time! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan’s Flight, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain and all the other big E-Ticket attractions are fair game.

FIREWORKS VIEWING LOCATION IS PERFECT IN FRONT OF THE ART OF DISNEY!
You don’t want to be stuck up front with folks getting a lil’ too close when you can be back on Main Street USA with a perfect view of the full castle! Holiday Wishes are scheduled for 10pm
SKIP SANTA
Santa is available for photos, but I’d suggest standing in line for characters that you can’t find at your local shopping mall…like Mickey, Jack Skellington and the 7 Dwarfs.
CAST MEMBERS ARE AWESOME!
Cast Members who work the party are actually regular cast members who may “pick up” a party shift in order to fill out their schedules. This means that you never really know who you’re talking to…unless you strike up a conversation!
Oh, and let them know that their hair bows are super!!

LET IT GO!
Anna & Elsa star in the Frozen Holiday Wish, the official lighting of the castle each night at 8:15pm. You’ll want to be around the Partner’s Statue for optimal viewing.
IT SNOWS ON MAIN STREET USA!!!
