Top Things to do in EPCOT without a FastPass+ Reservation

81views

EPCOT is my home park, and feel incredibly lucky to be able to share my passion about such an amazing spot on property. All of the Fastpass+ reservations are done for the day and you’ve got some time to explore…OR you just want to do a non-FastPass+ day (which is actually incredibly fun!)

These are the Top 10 Things to do at EPCOT without a FastPass+ Reservation

Meeting the Princesses

Okay, so although meeting characters isn’t for everyone (yup, I’m looking at you Patty;)) EPCOT’s World Showcase is packed full with character interactions. All you have to do is a little research on the Entertainment Schedule when you arrive at the park (or at the Resort)…and you should have a solid plan.

American Rotunda (Voices of Liberty)

Fountain of Nations

Disney Parks After Dark: Fountain of Nations at Epcot

The Disney Parks Blog did a great explanation of the Fountain of Nations!

Have you ever noticed this lovely dancing fountain at Epcot located just behind Spaceship Earth? It’s the Fountain of Nations and in addition to being a lovely point of interest for guests, it has been an important part of park history since Epcot opened in 1982.

A special “International Ceremony of the Waters” took place right here on the park’s opening day, in which cultural representatives traveled to Epcot from around the world. Each one brought with them a container of water from their nation and poured it into the fountain. Contributions from a total of 29 nations were featured in the ceremony.

Today, the fountain’s 200 pneumatic shooters create dancing water shows that delight guests both day and night.

Drinking Around the World

This is an underground activity, but the entire “goal” is to get a drink at each pavilion around the World Showcase. Yes, it gets a lil’ expensive. Yes, there are t-shirts. 😉

Deserts Around the World

Don’t feel the need to get drunk around the World Showcase? I agree with you! What’s my favourite activity? Eating around the World – of course!

Eat a snack at each pavilion and not only will it be a lil’ cheaper than drinks, but you’ll get SO full that you’ll be so thankful that you’re doing the EPCOT death-march around the world anyway;)
