When you set foot into Pandora: The World of Avatar, you’re immersed into a land that you could only have dreamed of seeing. Themed to James Cameron’s Avatar, the experiences come to life with details that are adapted from the big-screen into a day-to-day theme park environment. The new land includes two attractions, Avatar Flight of Passage and the Na’vi River Journey, in addition to Retail (Windtraders) and Dining (Satu’li Canteen and Pongu Pongu)
Happily Ever After is the new fireworks spectacular at the Magic Kingdom. After Wishes closed in early 2017, the debut of the new show has been met with mixed reviews, with the technological side of the performance leaving guests in awe, while the story and other elements bringing questions. With projection mapping, the castle became a show element for Imagineers to play with, and did they ever play!
Fun Fact – The title and theme song both came from Hong Kong Disneyland’s 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay is a fully-immersive water theme park experience, which opened in May 2017. With 28 acres of fun, the Third Theme Park offering brings exhilarating experiences and hassle-free technologies which allows for guests to get the most out of their vacation to Harry Potter’s next door neighbour!
