A Bucket-List is so much more than your basic vacation check-list. In fact, some would say that a list of things that you’ve always wanted to experience is integral to growing your understanding of the Walt Disney World Resort AND why we show so much passion towards the brand.
When I was coming up with my list, it was important for me to look at all aspects of the Walt Disney World property to make a fully-educated decision on what belongs (and doesn’t belong).
Please note that I am not a local. In fact, being Canadian actually adds to the draw of having a Bucket List because of the sheer distance and cost of travel and lodging.
VICTORIA & ALBERT’S
So, this is an updated list;)
We’ve actually had the opportunity to get reservations for three separate visits to Victoria & Alberts at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
November 2017…Jill and I had the opportunity to dine at Victoria & Albert’s in the Queen Victoria’s Room! For me, this dinner was a culmination of 8 years of attempts to get a reservation and a special occasion (5 year anniversary). Long story short, this is worthy of staying on this list! It was THAT GOOD!
During our meal, I actually checked My Disney Experience and searched for Jill’s birthday. I had stumbled upon another reservation opportunity for the main dining room in April! Fast forward a few months and we’re sitting in Victoria & Alberts again, having another memorable meal that we’ll never forget!
Then in 2022…it happened again!
CLUB 33 MEMBERSHIP
The ultimate Disney Bucket List wouldn’t be complete without putting Club 33 on it. For those who don’t know, Club 33 is a private club which dates back to 1967 when a building in New Orleans Square at Disneyland was converted into an exclusive who’s who of folks.
Needless to say, when Disney started the expansion of the membership to Walt Disney World, it became a goal and a dream to be a member! Let’s see how long it’ll take;)

ATTEND DAPPER DAY
I’m in awe of folks who get to dress up in their best turn-of-the-century garb and trot through Disney World in clothing that doesn’t belong in Florida lol! I still want to do it:)
WILD AFRICA TREK
When this was introduced, the adventurer in me just said YES! Well it’s one of the experiences that I’ve been able to live vicariously through the social media accounts of folks who have been on the Trek. This doesn’t mean that I don’t want to do it eventually:)

STAY IN THE DREAM SUITE
I was working in EPCOT during the ‘Year of a Million Dreams’ campaign, so this is a personal one for me. The idea of staying overnight in the Magic Kingdom, sleeping in Cinderella’s Castle…sign me up!
Since then, the Suite has only been used for incredibly special occasions, so here’s hoping that one day I’ll be lucky enough to have this opportunity!
PARTICIPATE IN A DISNEY FINE ART PORTRAIT SESSION AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM
I like photos, as you can tell, but there are few opportunities where I can get a backdrop that a line of folks waiting for a Photopass Photographer can’t get. This is where the folks at Disney Fine Art Photography come in! Imagine having a private Photographer and Assistant get your best side with Cinderella’s Castle in the background…or walking down Main Street USA!

SPEND A DAY WITH A VIP TOUR GUIDE
Being a tour guide for more than 5 years in Toronto, I know the kind of pull that a person with a nametag and a purpose can get you.
For me, it’s less about the front-of-the-line capabilities (because I’ve got the Genie+ system down pat) and more about the conversation and access that could be gained through a personal chaperone around the various parks.
DINE WITH AN IMAGINEER
I’ve always found this to be a tough one, because it’s offered through the same reservation system as Be Our Guest and Victoria & Albert’s…but it’s so much more special!
Having the chance to dine with a professional dream maker would put me into a fan-boy coma!
DISNEY GLOBAL TRIP
This will stay on this list for a while, and until I find the right story pitch…but visiting every Disney Park in the world is definitely a Bucket List item.
