What is the Disney Dining Plan

This is such an important piece of the offerings at Walt Disney World that it deserves it’s own article.

What is the Disney Dining Plan?

HERE’S WHERE IT’S MY OBLIGATION TO STATE THE OBVIOUS

Each vacation is 100% different and UNIQUE! No trip will ever be the same AND you’ll never have the same dining experience due to a number of factors that I just can’t begin to explain.

If you feel like the Disney Dining Plan would work for your family, my suggestion is to start early in the planning process and break out the excel spreadsheet.

I have a list of the Top ADRs to get ASAP, so take a look at that article if you’re thinking about going down the road of the Disney Dining Plan.

It’s important for you to do your research into the DDP before you buy it, as sometimes it’s not worth it.

JUST A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • If you book through Expedia, even if you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you’re not eligible for the Dining Plan
  • Everyone on the room reservation has to buy the Dining Plan. This is inclusive of all age groups
  • You don’t have to decide to buy the Disney Dining Plan before you start making ADRs. In fact, you can wait until a short time before your vacation to actually purchase it. Double check with the Disney Reservation Center (or 407-WDW-Dine) if you have individual questions.
