I’m Dustin Fuhs, a theme park fanatic that has created this brand to showcase my passion, tools and opinions to create a fun and interactive experience for everyone who visits. My goal is to help you and your family have the most magical experience at Walt Disney World. In reading my articles and ideas, I hope that you can find some fantastic ways to create some extra magic on your vacation.
My first trip was to Disneyland in 1994, an experience that was actually a prize from a Bowling Tournament that my mom won in Calgary Alberta. In 2005, I had the opportunity to interview for the Disney Cruise Line, but couldn’t make the 5 hour trip to the in-person session. After receiving a call from the recruiter a couple years later, I was living in Vancouver at the time and the interview was a 15-minute transit ride. I got the job and started at Walt Disney World less than 2 months later!
Since that amazing contract with the Cultural Representative Program, I’ve been employed by The Walt Disney Company on a number of occasions. My last “role” in the travel industry being a Travel Specialist with Expedia Cruiseshipcenters where I graduated from the College of Disney Knowledge. In addition, I was cross-trained with a number of other companies (Universal, Princess Cruise Lines, Cunard Cruise Line, and more).
In 2016, the initial concept for this website was started and in July 2017…Steps To Magic was born!

My main source of income from the website is from you visiting the site and clicking through a couple of articles. Yea, I’ll put some affiliate links to products that I really like or believe in, but you never EVER should feel like you have to click through. I have partnerships set up for traffic, but outside of that…it’s pretty much a “what you see is what you get” website. I love writing about Disney and Universal, so my motivation is to share as much information as possible without making Steps To Magic feel “sell-y”.
